Climate Change and Resilience

The increasing frequency of natural disasters exacerbated by climate change, desertification, drought, flooding, and land degradation poses a significant threat to vulnerable populations. Although such events are, to some extent, inevitable, their human and physical impacts can be mitigated through proactive, inclusive action. We explore the interconnections between global environmental change and disaster risk reduction in the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a strong focus on sustainability, resilience, and adaptation.
We strengthen communities via Disaster Risk Reduction, governance, and training. Our strategies ensure participation and sustainability in tackling social challenges.
