Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Minister for PD&R formally launched the website and the Data Reporting Gaps Study, while Secretary Planning Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui gave his welcome remarks. The aforementioned Data Reporting Gaps Study was launched at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Planning Development & Reform, Islamabad.

While talking to the ceremony, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar congratulated the core team of the Ministry of Planning Development and Reform, and the concerned officers and Federal SDGs Support Unit and SDGs Section on achieving the milestone. She lauded their commitments and efforts to localise sustainable development goals and taking on board the relevant stakeholders from policy makers to the gross root level. The Minister maintained that the contextualization of SDGs has a significant role to play and that the sector needs much focus.
