Based on the result of the feasibility assessment, which examined three existing models of Early Warning Systems (EWS), AKAH (Central Asia) recommends to build upon the existing automated hydro meteorological apparatus already in place in the region as initially set by the MEW. As a result, the system needs to be further improved by adding specific instruments into these hydro-met stations that could significantly increase the scope of Early Warning System with additional instrumentation.
